The Bristol Mergers and Acquisitions Society
The Bristol Mergers and Acquisitions Society has an aim to make students at the University of Bristol more attractive to employers, as well as more knowledgeable about the financial industry, so you can have the edge on your counterparts elsewhere.
Analysts will produce both educational reports, and video reports about recent mergers and acquisitions, allowing our social media followers to understand why they have happened, and who has the better deal.
We will host valuation competitions for members, with prizes for winners (as well as huge bragging rights on your CV).
We will give lessons to analysts about the process of M&A so that they are more than prepared for finance Spring Week/ Summer Internship interviews.
Given that membership is free, we know you'll want to join this network of like-minded young people in order to excel in applications and improve your knowledge of this fascinating industry.
We will host external speakers from banks and other financial institutions so that members can get a genuine grasp of what it's like to experience the M&A process first-hand.
